Is it hard to rank a blog post?

blogging

I decided to create this short post simply to answer this question. In general, it is difficult, but it is not impossible. Currently, for those who are just starting out, which is the case of this blog, it is difficult rank a blog post with already established sites such as Semrush, Backlinko, among others, because Google demands fast loading times, quality content, consistency and good use of SEO. Ensuring these things simultaneously is veeeery difficult.

If it is difficult, why did I choose a blog? Because of the useful life of posts and simply because of that, I admit that the useful life is not that long. My posts have been for a week at most, but it is longer than any social network currently, which two days after the post the platform never recommends to any user.

Have you ever ranked a post?

Not yet. Because it takes time to create a post with the intention of ranking it. So none of the last 17 posts I made were with this intention? Not exactly, I’ve never had a blog so this is my first contact, so these 17 posts were basically tests and I concluded that I should try to increase reader retention, I would say that my posts are “too superficial”.

I know it’s contradictory to have published The Ultimate Guide to Content Marketing: Building Connections and Driving Results and not have ranked any posts, but it’s not like I don’t know where I’m going wrong.

What are you going to do then?

My posts have been very scannable, that is, reading the main topic of each section is enough to know what to expect. However, tutorials, analyses and step-by-step instructions are impossible to read without reading them word for word. So I’m simply going to try to improve the quality and bring more tutorials, analyses and step-by-step instructions.
